Teambuilding on the Cape Point Route

Cape Point Route is becoming increasingly popular for corporate team building, corporate getaways and incentive groups with the most popular event being the Coastal Amazing Race. Whether you need to motivate your team, get Management to think ‘outside the box’, or simply host a relaxed corporate event to say ‘thank you’, the Cape Point Route team have the knowledge and experience to design a team building event to suit your company objectives.

Our most recent group was a European telecommunications company who did a Coastal Amazing Race . We had a perfect peninsula day as the group headed off in team colours from their hotel with race kits filled with clues, maps, race passports and instructions. The Coastal Amazing Race has been adapted from the popular TV show.

Their objective was to follow a route between Control Points from the hotel to the final destination. At each Control Point, teams had to perform a task to get their race passports clipped by the marshall – each one of varying difficulty with relative point scoring attached. Teams could score bonus points for additional questions based on the groups cellular phone knowledge and interaction with the Cape Town public! Time management, strategy, stamina and fun were key ingredients to winning the Cape Point Route Coastal Amazing Race.
