Pop into Cape Point Vineyards – at the southern end of Chapman’s Peak Drive for a tasting sensation of award winning wines. Take the wine on your picnic or pop into the new picnic site on their Noordhoek Estate on Silvermine Road. Open Daily between 12h00 and 15h00 and Sundowner tastings between 17h00 and 20h00.
9. Buy her flowers:
Thoughts of red roses and chocolates come to mind on Valentine’s Day but bear in mind that roses are more expensive on Valentine’s Day. Beverley of the “The Fragrance of Flowers” in Simon’s Town suggests cost saving and long lasting flowers as something different. Buy different colour roses if it has to be roses. She also says that roses don’t last well in Cape Town summer heat so go for a mixed colourful bunches of lillies, gerberers and lisianthus with a few roses to delight the hearts of ladies – young and old. 10. Valentine’s Day Breakfast:
